Yes. Static QR codes — every type, with logos and colors, in SVG and PNG — are free forever with no account, watermark, or scan limit. We make money on optional dynamic codes for businesses, not by holding free codes hostage.
Do Qranite QR codes expire?
No. Free codes are generated entirely in your browser, so they contain your data directly and never depend on our servers. They cannot expire, even if Qranite shuts down.
Do I need an account?
Not for the free generator. A free account is only needed for dynamic codes — short links you can edit after printing, with scan analytics.
What is a dynamic QR code?
A code that encodes a short link (qranite.com/r/xxx) instead of your final URL. You can change where it points anytime — even after printing — and see scan counts by day, country, and device.
What happens if I cancel a paid plan?
Your dynamic codes keep redirecting forever. You only lose editing and analytics beyond the free tier. We never redirect your scanners to ads or upgrade pages.
What formats can I download?
SVG for perfect print scaling, and PNG from 512 to 4096 pixels. Both free, no watermark.
Is my information uploaded to your servers?
No. The free generator runs 100% in your browser. WiFi passwords, contact details, and URLs never leave your device.
